We found this extruder to be very useful for the Diamond Hotend, as it will need additional extruding force, especially for the 3mm filament version or the E3D v6 version.

This extruder can be used for both 1.75mm and 3mm filament without changes.

As the plastic parts for this geared extruder are 3D printet, some cleanup and modification will have to be expected. And to fit the bearings and screws some force will have to be used. But we have built several of these kits and find it managable.
